If you’re interested in healthy food and healthy behaviour and the relationship between the two, this is for you. If you’re interested in investing in your health and the eating patterns of children, it’s for you. If you’re a student at the Oriental College who wants to learn about herbal medicine, it’s for you. It’s for you if you’re a TCM practitioner who wants to follow a post-training course on food and herbs.

Emotions, temperament, tendencies can be affected by a concious way of food intake. Eating is not just about eating as such, but about how one eats, what one experiences and what happens to it in the bowels. Even just counselling or a simple explanation about how feeding affects your behviour can be an eye-opener and motivate you to take a good look at your eating patterns and lifestyle.

In classical Chinese medicine, food and behaviour are directly connected. Qigong training can teach you how to deal with food in such a way that you can anticipate what it will do to you. The relationship between food, behaviour and the five phases (wuxing) and polarity (yinyang) will all be dealt with. They might upset your preconceptions, but they will also offer much clarity. Also included are questions related to when and why it’s better not to eat, and about when fasting can be a good thing.

A four-day package of lessons and exercises costs only €350,-- if you register before august 1st (normal price €400). Discount is available for groups. A reader is part of the course price. The second weekend will be on october 3 and 4.

The first weekend is on september 19 and 20.

Our innovative yet traditional method of chair massage differs from the Shiatsu based chair massage in that the client is asked to take an active part in posture correction. With this the client also learns how to prevent discomfort and complaints due to a wrong posture. Furthermore you learn to make a quick evaluation of the clients problems and give a comforting relaxing massage, which is not a formalised one, but comes from your understanding what needs to be done.
